Mount share on Windoze Domain?

Can this be accomplished using Samba?

I tried #smbmount //defilade/sharename /folder

but it says it could not resolve the mount point /folder. Am I doing this correctly? Can Samba even connect to shares on a Windows (2K3) Domain Controller?

/folder must be an existing directory under your Linux box.

Unless you are using pam_winbind the User on the MS side must have been created on the Linux system and the smbuser added with smbpasswd -a command.

the smbclient command must be called with the following syntax.

smbmount //<server>/<share> /folder -o username=<username>
