Missing man pages

Hi,
I am completely new to using Linux. I just installed Mandriva 10.2 to have a good environment to work on my (nonexistent) C++ skills; however, none of the man pages are present... even man pages for simple stuff like fgets or fprintf aren't there.... Could it be possilbly that I clicked too many "Next"s when installing...lol....I'm sure I installed everything...the C and C++ compilers work fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
