Angry Missing HDD size when installing Fedora

To anyone:

Installing Fedora core 1 on
Compaq Presario 7870 AMD K6-2 550Mhz with 384 Mb RAM and a never used 20 Gig Quantum fireball LCt 15
Boot CD works fine UNTIL partitions. Seems it only recognizes 9MB(correct 9MB). Looking at other threads, problem may be with the BIOS recognizing the HDD but the original HDD in the box was a 20 Gig (Western Digital). Used Z Clean to rid of all partitions but no luck to find the other 18 Gigs. ANy ideas? Thanks!!

I can't think of anything that would cause this... even if it was a bios issue (which I doubt on that machine) you should at least see 2GB worth of the disk. Can anything else read that disk? Are you sure that it isn't a bad drive?
