I have a computer running SuSE 7.0 (Kernel 2.2.18) that does nothing
but IPForwarding and Masquerading the ADSL Internet connection to 3 WindowsXP machines
via ipchains since my kernel seems to be to old for iptables and so on.
therefore i have a script as follows:
----------------------------------------------------------
ipchains -F output
ipchains -F input
ipchains -P input ACCEPT
ipchains -P output ACCEPT
ipchains -P forward MASQ
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
----------------------------------------------------------
now how can i have one of the WindowsXP Machines to run a server (e.g. emule or DDC) ?
p.s. please don't suggest getting iptables or a kernel update, cause i tried
that a million times and i'm just too newbieish for either of them...
