Question Looking for a LINUX IDE for C/C++

Just shifted over to mandrake linux bamboo. Using KDE 3.1. I want a linux version of some IDE (i'm used to borland turbo c++ for DOS). I'd appreciate if someone points out some good IDE. my only requirement is that it should have the ability to STEP THRU' THE CODE LINE BY LINE and have a GOOD DEBUGGER.
Thanks
P.S. I've tried both anjuta and kdevelop and I hated 'em.
Even an equivalent for MS visual C++ would work(i'd prefer borland turbo C clone rather) . Plz just tell me the link.

Since you like Borland products try kylix3. Its open source and simular to delphi and C++ builder in the windows world.

why don't you try emacs...

you can run invoke gbd from emacs...
emacs supports step by step debugging..

its faster and very much like borland's turbo C++ IDE... however you'll have to create makefile for making projects....
