Logitech mouse receiver is detected but mouse doesn't work.

I'm having a problem with a Logitech M570 mouse receiver and I'm not able to find a solution. It works on a single USB port on Lenovo X230 and it no longer works on the other two ports. On another machine which has exactly the same setup, zBook, it woorked a couple times and then never worked again. I recently installed nvidia drivers, qemu, and libvirt. The mouse does work on a Windows desktop machine.

Here is some diagnosis from zBook:

Thank you for sharing the link. The issue doesn't seems to be what I have because the mouse is paired and worked on some situations. It still works on a specific USB port on a specific machine. I noticed that when I plug the received into the functioning USB port I get the following dmesg output:

Code:
 [ 48.606241] logitech-djreceiver 0003:046D:C52B.0003: hiddev0,hidraw0: USB HID v1.11 Device [Logitech USB Receiver] on usb-0000:00:1a.0-1.2/input2

[ 48.611869] logitech-djdevice 0003:046D:C52B.0004: input,hidraw1: USB HID v1.11 Mouse [Logitech Unifying Device. Wireless PID:1028] on usb-0000:00:1a.0-1.2:1

The last four lines were not produced when I plugged it into the non functioning USB ports, as showen in the last line in output in the original post.

Logitech mouse receiver is detected but mouse doesn't work.

Might be a power problem : not all usb ports provide the same power (it will work with usb stick or self-powered device but not with a device that need more energy).
