Hey gp2703 - Welcome to LQ.
You'll get lots of help here for this kind of thing - it is a very common objective. Give us a few more details concerning your existing system (hardware specs, Windows version, BIOS or UEFI, etc. ...). It will help members give you the best advice.
what kind of help do you need? What have you done or not done? What linux distro. There are all kinds of how to's on the internet for installing linux with a little bit of googling. With out knowing where in the duel booting process your stuck at it is hard to give any concrete advice.
That's a powerful computer from the Linux point of view. It looks like it came with Windows 7, so there won't be any problem with secure boot. You've probably got UEFI bios, but that's no problem as you can see here http://www.zdnet.com/article/linux-m...i-secure-boot/
What partitions does Windows have on your disk? You can find that using Windows Explorer, which is probably in the Accessories section of the menu. Tell us how you HD is arranges and we can tell you how to re-arrange it for installing Linux.
