Linux Share being able to be "read" within windows, but cannot be modified.

Hello Everyone.

Here's my current configuration.
I have a Samba share on a Kubuntu 9.1 VM.
The share path is /home/elder/testshare
It gets recognized by Windows, (Win 7) and I am able to open files within it, but I cannot modify files within that share. Any ideas where to start?

When opening up the share originally within Windows, I used the "elder" account so, it has full creator access, to my knowledge, since the folder was originally created by the elder account. I also went ahead and changed the permissions to read/write/modify for all, just incase.

I'm just kinda scratching my head at this point of what I may have missed. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

You might be able to find useful information in this thread on another board, involving Win 7, Samba shares, and Linux.

Ya, I already indirectly looked into that, but it doesn't seem to have solved the problem. I now have both Windows and linux talking to each other, as in that I can see files/shares on both, but are unable to modify either. Any other suggestions?
