linux friendly isp`s


trying to make up my mind which dsl service to get , have msn for my 98se but need to find linux friendly dsl for my linux box.! what about earthlink 1.5mbs claimed downsteam even half would be nice have 56k now. any suggestions would be appreciated!! have mandrake 8.0 distro.

I have had no troubles with DirectTV DSL (formally Telocity). They give you a static IP and a ethernet DSL modem that assigns you IP when your machine boots (DHCP). It took all but five mintues to set it up.

My download is 1.5Mb and upload 256Kb.
