there is no such thing as an image of linux. Your best starting point is downloading an installer for Ubuntu or Mint really. That's a great way in. http://www.ubuntu.com/download

can i download full image of linux here ?
You can download the cd/dvd ISO for nearly any Linux distribution from the distribution's site.
1 - Pick a distro
2 - Go to their site
3 - Download the ISO
4 - Burn it to a CD/DVD/USB
5 - Boot it up and run it in Live mode (where supported) or install
6 - ???
7 - Profit!
First thing to learn about Linux is that it's not a pre-chewed "uniform" for everybody, but a plethora of choices for all kinds of personal prefs/tastes/purposes. If you don't like one, use another.
