Actually the packages should already be in system so just run apt-get upgrade

A lot of them failed to fetch, but many completed.

Was that the upgrade or update?

That was the update after the upgrade. Also I ran apt-get upgrade --fix-missing and that failed to fetch anything. Do I restart my computer and try to boot or are there more commands?

Check /var/log /messages first.
Is there any way to get wired?
