Question light Linux distro for older pc


Hello!
I want to find Linux distro for older pc..i have allready tried AntiX,Lubuntu, Elive.
I need USB live distro 'couse i want to keep windows but not dual boot.
My pc specs.
Intel Celeron D 331 single core 2.66GHz
Ati radeon X300/X550/x1050 series 128mb
Asrock 775DUAL/VSTA 350W PSU

Check out Porteus or Puppy Linux.

Puppy was fast but not that as i expected. And Porteus didn't even boot..so

Can you please list *all* the distros you have already tried, and the reasons you rejected them?

Crux is very lightweight. Just wondering why you rejected lubuntu?

128MB is not much RAM for any contemporary Linux distro.

If Puppy did run satisfactorily, you will have trouble making this machine work unless you can find a way to increase the available RAMs.

I think the 128MB is the Ati video card memory. But the way the post is formulated. I can be wrong.

Looking at it again, I could well have read it wrong. Thanks.

I did a web search for that machine's specs and could not find clear information about the RAM. I just redid the search and found one link indicating that it might have been a 512MB machine out of the box, which is still awfully light on RAM for a contemporary Linux desktop distro.

OP, please clarify how much RAM that thing has.

It has 1 stick DDR2 512mb and second stick 1024 mb ram..in sum 1.5GB ram
