Launching Blacbox

I am sure this is already in a dozen threads but I couldn't find it. How can I launch blackbox? I don't want it to be the default. I thought maybe I could just add some options to startx, but I haven't had any luck. I am running Slack 10.0. Thanks in advace for the help.
