Hello,

I begin to use Knoppix yesterday and i writted this command :

mount -o remount,rw /mnt/sda1

result -> now i cant get to into xp

(sda1 is the partition NTFS of xp)


Somebody can say me how to solve this problem?


Note: Now when i try (from Knoppix) enter in that partition i get the next error:

"Could not device.
The reported error was:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock
on dev/sda1,

or too many mounted file system"

Pls, i need some help... im newbie with linux. And sorry for my english.

There is a good reason Knoppix does not mount your NTFS in write mode. You should never write dirctly from Linux to NTFS. If you must write to your Windows Partition use

but now i dont mind if i can mount or not this partition... i only want can to enter again in windows xp


I cant get in, neither to launch the console, i get a error when i press "R" (in the xp's installation) and i cant to get the console for restore the system
