Kingston KNE-PC2 Won't Install

I am installing Novell's SUSE version 9 onto a HP Laptop PC.

The unit freezes every time I insert my Kingtson KNE-PC2 ethernet card (PCMCIA). I have pcnet_cs specified as the driver module yet no matter what I do, SUSE continues to look for a Wisecom NIC which I don't have.

Has anybody else had this problem before and can tell me what to do? Should I use something other than pcnet_cs?

I'm at a loss..
