Can't get two kingston NICs to work

Hi All!

I recompiled kernel 2.4.26 on slack 10 with support (builin support no as a module) for RealTek 8139too because during the boot both eth0 and eth1 are detected with RealTek 8139B chipset. But then, later during the boot, messages say:

Note: /etc/modules.conf is more recent then /lib/modules.2.4.26/modules.dep
modprobe: Can't locate module 8139too

ifconfig command only shows the lo and eth settings.

did anyone have the same problem?

thanks
