Hey guys!

Just asking what's the best kernel optimized to run on AMD Athlon XP? (1800+) Where can I download that?

If you compile from the source just tell it it is a AMD and compile. The source usually contains all the devices, you just compile in what you want.

Usually has the kernels.

That compile can take a while. If you have power problems, make sure you have a UPS to keep from interupting the process. It's all or nothing. It can get right at the end and fail and you have to start all over again.

When you untar the kernel, there is usually a how to thing in there that tells you how to compile and such.

Hope that helps.
