KDE-How do I make it the default GUI?

I am getting ready to install RH 8 . How do I make it so that KDE is the default GUI instead of Gnome?

redhat uses "switchdesk" type it in a terminal.

and PLEASE use better thread titles in the future. "kde" is not a useful title.

Sorry about the thread title.
Is the swithdesk command something that I do after RH is installed and does it make is so that KDE is automatically the default?

oh, you've not even installed it? i think you can just install kde as a defult if you choose to. if not though, switchdesk will easily sort it out once installed.

you are aware that KDE is crap...?

depends if you want to pretend you're still using windows or not. i use backbox, it's extremely fast, and minimal. no silly filemanagers, no silly icons... but then kde is probably what you'll feel most at home using, or gnome. they're both pretty similar, but for some reason *cough*windows*cough* most newbies get on beter with kde.
