kate can not save


hi i have mandrake lunix 8.1 and im new to lunix.
i want to make lunix read a fat32 partition.
i read that you have to edit fstab
so i did and wanted to save when i got this message:
could not save this document ,ignore and proceed?

wat can i do about it
thanks already

make sure you are doing this as the root user--otherwise it won't work...

As jpohara said..make sure you do it as root.Else su to root from the user login. Good Luck.
