Installing new NVIDIA drivers [Need Experienced Linux User]

Hello, I recently managed to mess up my install of Fedora 38 by installing drivers the wrong way with a bad guide.

I then made a entire re-installation of Fedora 38 and used another guide which made the driver mostly work but I installed a older version of the driver and currently I got multiple smaller issues like

- after standby my graphics go wild glitching out and causing artifacts
- recording in the Nvidia settings in OBS do not work
- Nvidia Settings app does not open

That's why I would like to attempt to put new drivers on my Fedora 38 with the goal of cleaning my PC of the old driver and installing the newest compatible driver onto my system so everything mentioned works fine.

MY GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2
This is the driver I am planning on installing https://www.nvidia.de/Download/drive...x/209261/en-us

These are the guides I am thinking of using
https://rpmfusion.org/Configuration
https://rpmfusion.org/Howto/NVIDIA?h...ryHowto%5Cb%29

I am not native english and I never cared to learn proper grammar but I hope you are able to understand what I try to communicate !

Basically what I am asking here is confirmation that what I am planing makes sense and possibly some advice and things I should look for
I also am using KDE Plasma version of Fedora and currently Wayland, I would love to hear opinions about that too

This is your third different thread on this forum with the same issue.
As I mentioned in another thread, I suggest you go to the ask.fedoraproject.org forum and ask the experts there who work with fedora all the time. Assistance is available and many use the same environment (KDE + Wayland) as you.

I use Fedora and have for many years, along with nvidia gpus. I only visit this forum occasionally so do not always see posts where I can help. I am on the ask fedora forum regularly.

It's not exactly the same issue, I have 3 threads in total that's correct but 1 is about the kernel the other one is about a broken NVIDIA install and this one is well about something else.
I also don't think if I write into a old thread anyone will see and since the topic was a different one people prob wont go there to answer the right question it so it's like screaming to a empty room, I will visit the site you mentioned and give it a try

I also marked the other 2 threads as solved not sure how to delete them
