Install size

I'm sorry as I'm sure this has been asked a million times but I can't get the search to give me any information.

I am about to install SimplyMepis and a download size of 709 megs doesn't give me confidence that it will fit into a 2meg slot.

How big is the install?

What do you mean by 2meg slot?

AFAIK SimplyMepis is a live CD that you can also install to the hard drive. 709MB is the size of the file that is used to create the CD.

According to the website you will need 2.5 GB of free disk space to install.
