Can you help me make it work..
tnx again in advance....
I had this under my global settings...
workgroup =wrkgrp
netbiosname =smbserver
security = share
load printers = no
default service = global
path =/home
available = no
encrypt passwords = yes
[share]
writeable = yes
admin users =smbuser
path = /home/share
force user = root
valid users = smbusers
public = yes
available = yes
Why do you have path in Global?
Have you added the smbuser to the samba users?
Are you sure you want encrypt pawwords?
Did you read any of the documentation at www.samba.org?
