I cannot installed Netscape.

I am using Redhat 7.3 ,Using Gnome Desktop.

I download the netscape, but it cannot work

but when i click the shell script, it said that couldnt find the program 'netscape-installer".

How?? Please advice me

I just installed it this afternoon..

What does the file you downloaded look like?
does it end with .rpm --> try rpm -i filename.rpm
does it end with tar.gz --> try tar zvxf filename.tar.gz and then read the readme file.

1-type "cd netscape-installer" on shell
2-then ./netscape-installer
3-follow the screen instruction

it end with tar.gz..
I extracted it out also cannot !!!

i click on the shell script and the .bin also cannot

tar xvfz instaler_file.tar.gz
chmod 755 whatever_the_name_of_the_installer.bin
and execute it from the shell
./whatever_the_name_of_the_installer.bin
