how to WINE ?


Hi y'all how do you install kazaa with wine cause i'm getting crazy trying so hard at this.I have and am using a reg. wine not wineX.I'm getting fixme,errors.and need NT 4.1,and oh man this $hit is crazy PLEASE HELP ME

Post some of the actual error messages... that'll make it easier for us to figure out what's wrong.

If you are seeing FIXMEs, don't worry about them, since they are just letting you know that Wine is not yet perfect

There was just a thread about the same thing.
Summed up:
The general sentiment seems to be to use kazaalite for Linux.
Just check out the thread - there is a search feature.
What I don't understand is what all you people want with kazaa anyway.They already lost one lawsuit and it will only go downhill from there.That thing will be dead in a couple of month anyway.Any p2p app that has a big user base and uses servers will get sued to hell in the near future anyway.

Kazaalite.com seems to be down, but here is a tutorial for getting it up and running.

THANKZ,but

Thanks,but i tried that,and it don't work,will not for me.My errors that it says is "cannot load shlwapi.dll" its funny though cause i do have that .dll too.THANKS
