How to update Clamav antivirus database

I have FC-5 and use KDE. I installed Clamav. Now on the splash screen it tells me that the antivirus database is too old and that I need to update it. I went to the Clamav web site yesterday hoping to find what I need. I didn't. Can anyone tell me what I need to do?

Also, I searched for *clam*, *clamav*, *Clam* and *Clamav* and the searches came up with no results. It's there, there are too many signs. But I don't know how to find it. I've looked on all of my menus but it's not there. I need to find it because I need to know what version it is and to be able to set it up and control it. Can somebody please tell how to find it, (directory, file name, etc.) and how I can set parameters in it?

Thanks,

royeo

Try running freshclam as root. You can also daemonize it to automatically check after specified time. Look for /etc/freshclam.conf file that has all the settings for it.

To daemonize it,
Code:
freshclam -d
Edit: Try man freshclam to learn more about it.
Tux,

It's also common to run freshclam as a daemon, in FC5 for example, it's in the clamav init script
