How to setup Fresh Server in my office


Please can anyone tell me how to setup the Server in my office.Mostly employee use wifi.I want to set up the server in such a way that wifi and lan users will not affect any problem regarding internet and I want to implement that users get less bandwidth while accessing youtube any video stream, block social site such as facebook.com , all proxy site.Please guide me how to initiate and replay me as soon as.ss

After installing the server ,Incase something went wrong then how to bring into normal stage. Which O.s to use (ubuntu or centos) server?

We volunteer our time here...don't tell us to hurry up and reply ASAP.

How you set up a server?
  • Download your choice of Linux
  • Burn the ISO image to DVD
  • Boot from DVD
  • Follow the instructions on the screen
Nothing more complicated than that. If you want to put Internet rules in place, then you need to plan on two NIC cards in your server, and load/configure Squid. There is plenty of documentation/how-to guides you can easily find on Google, as well as how to install any flavor of Linux. Didn't you see them when you were looking for this site?

I'd suggest you load CentOS as your server.
