I have a problem setting up Nussus on Ubuntu 10.04. I have searched how to do this but was only able to find cites that showed how to install Nessus on earlier versions of Ubuntu. The problem is that the 10.04 version does not have nessusd and nessus-adduser files in the package manager, it only has Nessus file. When I try to follow instructions from other cites it tells me that there are no such files. Does anyone know how to install Nessus on the 10.04 version. Thanks your help is greately appreciated.
I just typed the whole thing i did step by step to fix the problem i had
and pressed the wrong button. I'm short on time and not gonna type it all out again but here is
in cliff notes. go to http://www.nessus.org download the file fron them,
install it, then get the plugins form them again, and click on the link that they send you
lower down in the e-mail and you're done!
