OK, maybe I should analyze start over again from the beginning of the problem :

What I need is just as simple as StartUp folder facility such in WinXP. In there I'm simply put the shortcut to my program, so when the windows logged in my program getting executed.

Well is there anyway to do the same in Linux ? Maybe out of bash script ?

Thank You Please Help

A good programmer will put in some code to detect if the network is working and loop it a few times if it does not. Also a smart programmer will put print or echo lines for each line of code to debug the code. Probably your program is working but the lines to send something out to the network fails. You program seems that it does not know if it has been sucessful or fail the attempt to send information out to the network. Usually profile is run before the network ever starts. I suggest using bash to verify if the Python path is set in order for your Python script to work or else the modules for Python will not work.

Hi I've already try to put print 'hello world", but still nothing happen since I suspect that the script never got a chance to be executed at all.

Anyway since in Ubuntu Linux there is a place to run a program on each login which is Session Manager, I've tried to use it :

But still no luck
