How to reinstall nvtv?

I'm using Fedora core 3 (dutch) with a geforce4 ti4200.

I've Installed nvtv and it worked fine!? (blackbar in tv out).

After changing some setting to get rid of the blackbar, I gave up.
I tried again later, now I get:

Quote:
# nvtv
Segmentatie fout
Quote:
# nvtv -d
init root
gui_main
settings_cb 0
settings_cb done 0
bnv open
bnv update crt 1
nv get devflags 0 [] = 00
nv get clock pll=00034D04, m=4 n=77 p=3, Fref=27000 Fclk=64969 kHz

bnv init heads 2
nv get devflags 0 [] = 00
nv get devflags 1 [] = 03

bnv update crt 2
nv get devflags 1 [] = 03
nv get clock pll=0004C20D, m=13 n=194 p=4, Fref=27000 Fclk=25183 kHz

nv get devflags 1 [] = 03

gui_device_init end
get mode nv 2
bnv update crt 2
nv get devflags 1 [] = 03
nv get clock pll=0004C20D, m=13 n=194 p=4, Fref=27000 Fclk=25183 kHz
Segmentatie fout
Quote:
# nvtv -b
does nothing

Quote:
# nvtv -n
opens the nvtv window, but no settings have any effect whatsoever.

Is there a way I can remove nvtv to reinstall it, of is it repairable?
Tried to install again but same error.

All you need to do is install the nVidia driver from nVidia's site. Then read the documentation on how to use the TV out. You do not need nvtv unless you have a TNT or TNT2 card.

thanks

Thanks for your reply,

I had tv-out when I enabled dualhead -->tv back/white
nvtv + dualhead works @800x600 in color.
only one problem nvtv shows about 4/5 displays?
head1: monitor +tv
head2: monitor +flatpanel +tv
If I turn tv on, only tv has image, monitor goes in sleep mode.

I'll go read the nvidia manual now.

Thanks again.

Thumbs up

I've read the manual,

enabled dualhead.
added this in xorg.conf:
option "TVStandard" "PAL-B"
option "TVOutFormat" "COMPOSITE"

and I worked.

Wil read manual first next time.
