nvtv problems

Hello,

I'm trying to get my TV-Out to work properly, so that I can use mplayer to output directly to the TV.

I've been working with nvtv. The test picture that you get when nvtv-gui starts is perfect, both in colors and in sharpness, but when I try to output something I only get blurred/garbled output...

I've been trying to run in 800x600 (Large) on my PAL TV..

Just to make sure every connection, cable etc. is ok I just checked with my WinXP and everything is OK..

any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
