mounting a network drive

Hello !

you probably have a syntax problem.

my LAN is a linux PC connected with a windows PC (fixed address IPADDRESS)
I have installed samba-common (already done by default with ubuntu)

for me this works:

substitute
USERNAME with your username that is the for witch you have shared the drive
PASSWORD for the password for witch you have shared the drive
UID with your username
GID with your group name
IPADDRESS with the fixed IPADDRESS of the distant computer or it's name if you put the correspondence in /etc/resolv.conf

Code:
mount -o uid=UID,gid=GID,username=USERNAME,password=PASSWORD //IPADDRESS/D$ /mnt/test

hope it will help
