how to make a mediawiki, a client of ldap?

in our lab, we have a ldap server set up...
now the next task is to integrate moodle and wiki with ldap, i.e., we want to make wiki and moodle as clients of ldap, such that on logging in to ldap server, we also automatically log in to wiki n moodle, as the same user...

we put LdapAuthentication.php file in /extension folder
also we included lines in LocalSettings file about domain name...
when we try to log in from wiki, it rejects the password...
