How to get giant mouse pointer, text and icons in Lubuntu?

I need to have giant things on the screen in order to see them, and Lubuntu is really small. Took a look at xrandr and it didn't even run, so I tried Preferences >> Monitor settings for a lower resolution and that didn't work out so well.

Is there a way to get giant text, icons and mouse pointer beyond what's offered in Preferences? And without changing the screen resolution.

You can set the fonts to a large size in Openbox as well as the in the LXDE configuration. I think icon size can be set in these same areas as well. As far as mouse pointers, don't know. There isn't a built-in "magnification" setting as there is in Windows...

Just took a look at Openbox config and I'm afraid I need even bigger sizes than that. The maximum font size is 19.

that can't be true for ALL fonts.
anyhow, you want to change appearance of gtk windows, i guess. that's lxappearance, not obconf.
icon sizes are changed in pcmanfm.
mouse pointer, you have to install a bigger mouse pointer theme. either from the repos or from gnome-look.org
