Question How to cut and paste in ubuntu desktop


hello guys I`m trying to cut/paste operation on ubuntu desktop but can`t find any command can any body tell me.

Ctrl-X and Ctrl-V

And you can use Ctrl-C to copy. Wait a minute! Isn't this the same as Windows!
