How to change the YUM repositories

Hi all,

Since I'm still struggling with the installation of my damn 56K modem with Fedora Core 5, as for now I would like to use the installation CD as the main repository for YUM.

At the moment, when I start it with KDE, it is not able to "retrieve software information", and, more seriously, I cannot solve the dependency problems I face while installing other packages in order to solve various problems.

So, how can I change that? Thank you!

Take a look here for some tips on how to use removable media as yum sources.
