How do I share a X session with another user...

I've been wanting to setup a chess game on my server so that my cousin and I can play over the course of several months. Here's what I had in mind.

On the server I startx using twm and load up xboard and put it in Edit Mode. I'm not going to be using -ics. Then I add the hostnames of my user and my cousins user to the access list for xhost.

Now here is where I am stuck. How can I login to the server and open up that X session where xboard exists?

From what I understand when I used startx, it automatically defaults the X session to :0.

I tried doing the following.

Xnest :0 -query ip_of_server -wr &
But I can't see the instance of xboard.

How can I and my cousin both connect to that X session on :0 where xboard is running?

How can I approach this problem? I do not want to use VNC. I want to stick with only X.

Xhost might be able to help you.

xhost +<username> or xhost +, depending on how you want to do it.

From the xhost man pages:
Quote:
[+]name The given name (the plus sign is optional) is added to the list allowed to
connect to the X server. The name can be a host name or a user name.
+ Access is granted to everyone, even if they aren't on the list (i.e., access
control is turned off).
See the man pages and google searches for more information.

Yea tried that. Is there a way to do X11 forwarding on a program that has already been started?

Like say on server A I start xboard. Then on server B, I log into server A with x11 forwarding. Can I x11 forward out that xboard program? Or can I only x11 forward out new programs?
