I've tried 4 two hours to get to my Downloads directory and always the system said = no such file or directory...
And was beginning to think my Slackware were corrupted (or even worse)...
Sorry to be so dumb sometimes (always?)

We all were NOOBs at one time so don't be afraid to ask.

Takes time and experience to learn what we know, and none of us "know it all" by any means. Even after ~30 years of using linux I still ask questions.
