Question How do I download Realplayer and Yahoo Messenger?

I am a new user and I am pretty good with computer's but this is really confusing me. I have had Linux now for about a month and the only thing I can figure out is how to to change the styles on my flux box and get online and I am getting really frustrated. I just would like for now to find out how to download RealPlayer and Yahoo Messenger. I have read the instructions on how to dowload them but I dont know were to go to get the root and type in the installed information? I am not really a dummy I installed Linux but figuring out everything is hard when I dont know anyone who has Linux. I sure hope someone can help me.

If you use more then one Instant Messenger or into this hardcore free software thing check out GAIM.

Also to login as root, when you get the login screen just type root and whatever password you set for root during installation. If you didn't set a password for root during installation, login as root then use the command passwd.

I know how it feels trying to learn Linux without anybody you know to help. Don't worry we'll help you out. Linux can be difficult to get started but is very stable once you have it up and running.

PS What distrobution as do you use.
