Hi, welcome to LQ,

and what *is* dolphin? A distro, a tool, a desktop?

Cheers,
Tink

"dolphin" is a filemanager ( for KDE 4 )

Applications will "autostart" with a softlink,
'application' = > ~.kde/Autostart

1) Split the window vertically, and drag your app
e.g.1: '/usr/local/bin/"my_game"' and drop it as
a link ( a copy will not work )

2) Or do command (e.g.2)
'ln -s /usr/bin/"app" /home/granpa/.kde/Autostart/

Replace " .. " with the actual name of binary.

3) A copy of a desktop entry also work, try with
'Home.desktop'

Regards
