How can I switch form KDE to Gnome e vice-versa?

I've installed Mandriva 2007 free and select to install both KDE and Gnome. I choose as the default KDE.

I have a simple question: How I switch from KDE to Gnome and vice-versa? The shortcuts that I define under KDE will appear under Gnome?

I found a similar thread but it isn't clear. I would like to go from KDE to Gnome and later get back to KDE and so on forever.

Greetings from Sao Paulo - Brazil

Ricardo

If you look carefully at your normal graphical login screen, there is usually an option or drop-down list, where you can specify which "Session" (KDE/Gnome) you want to login to. Sometimes it is not immediately obvious though.

Everything occurs like you said and I swap from KDE to Gnome and vice-versa.

One last question:

When I installed the Mandriva I choose automatic login with my user. Is there a way of reset this and Mandriva always ask for the user and password?

Cheers

Of course there is, but I am not exactly certain where in Mandriva.
Try running kcontrol from a terminal. Then System Administration -> Login Manager -> Convenience Look for []Enable Auto-login
Otherwise, you'll just have to keep looking through the menus. You'll learn quite a lot from just exploring them all.
