Switching from KDE to Gnome and vice-versa


I have debian and i first installed Gnome and then I installed KDE and now only KDE starts but i want to know how to use Gnome for when i need it. Thanks!

try gnome-session

try running gnome-session

Try searching titles for 'gnome to kde' since there has been a lot of threads on this. Create a file in your home dir called .xinitrc and to run put 'exec gnome-session' in that file or 'startkde'
