Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew the hotmail settings for connecting through evolution mail as i have a @msn.com e-mail address and i don't really want to change it as i'm far too lazy to tell everyone. Thanks if ye can help me.
PS. I cant stand the ****ing look of the on line version of hotmail anymore
AFAIK, Hotmail only has its mail setup to be used over HTTP, not POP or IMAP. At one time you could use Outlook Express I believe to retrieve your mail, but of course, they probably had that built into their program since its theirs..
Get a real email account if you don't like Hotmail...
If you actually have a @msn.com address and you connect using msn.com to the Internet, I'm sure you have a member services page you can access with this information to setup your msn mail in client programs...
The only diference I saw is that in the username box, it must be filled with the complete e-mail address. Instead of writing user_name I wrote user_name@hotmail.com and it works..... windows al fin.
