hibernate button not working


when i do click on hibernate its not working....
can neone tell me how to hibernate my system ...
m using linux fedora 6

Are you using an Nvidia driver?

/etc/acpi/

you could try to manually edit scripts in directory '/etc/acpi'

hi ..whenever iam using hibernate option my laptop is hibernating ...
but when iam resuming then fedora is starting in the beginning but then a blank screen is coming and iam not able to resume my work..
i have to then restart my laptop.


can anyone help me out...
