Question Help! "Motion" Configuration with USB webCam.


Beginner in Linux.
I recently downloaded "Motion" program for motion detection.
I have two webcam in my laptop, the embedded one and an external one.
I have a problem:
the program is start working on the embedded camera.
I want it to detect my external USB webcam ignoring the embedded one.
How can I do that.
another quiestion: How can I start rununing ZoneMinder after installing it and change it's setting.

set it to the cam you would like to use here
you need to stop/turn off motion first
you can only have 1 cam working at 1 time with most programs

click system, preferences
go down the list to multimedia systems selector, start it click video set the cam
try v4l and v4l2 click the bottom test button for each 1
