Obviously your real problem is a virus in windows & lack of knowledge of linux.
1. For your windows problem run "Windows Defender Standalone", it can be burned to Cd/Dvd or Usb. Just boot to it.
After virus is removed You can download & install it. Not sure about WinsXp but it will install on WinsVista & 7.
2. I think that Ubuntu Documentation has been covered by snowpine.
