Question Help Me - Please

Hello,

I have a problem and was hoping someone out there can assist - I have a 2gig USB flash disk which was attached to my Xp laptop and my laptop rebooted and since then i am unable to see or mount the drive in Suse 9.2
Is there a way of partitioning a USB flash disk via SUSE in order for me to use this drive again ?

Your assistance is appreciated

Hi and welcome to LQ

You need to mount the drive. When I want to manually mount my pendrive, I type in
Code:
#mount /dev/sda1 /pendrive
You will need to do something similar:
Code:
#mkdir /mnt/pendrive
#mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/pendrive
Note the '#' symbol, this means that you need to be root to do these things - use 'su' to become root.

And this is moved to Linux-Newbie as it's not an introduction.
