My friend Adam is addicted to Linux and is being completely anti social to all of his close friends. He constantly makes excuses and doesn't realize this. Any tips on getting him away abit?

Given your behavior in this thread and your other...have you considered it's just you he doesn't want to hang around with?? Also, these threads seem very much like flame/troll bait.

Again, you need to quit using text-speak garbage.
And really, if you want to 'help a friend', talk to their parents. Since they know (and he's obviously smarter than you), get over it. If you can't even spell or use Google to look something up....what, exactly, do you think you'll be able to do? This is very obviously troll/spam bait, and has been reported. I'd be very surprised if the moderators didn't close/delete the thread.

Again, quit using it. It's bad because it's hard to read, and it's just plain rude to KEEP DOING what others ask you not to. And if you bothered to read the rules of this forum when you signed up, you'd see it's frowned up in general.

That's his business what he decides to do with his time, not yours. Grow up. Learn to spell and write, and perhaps you'd do more with your time than play TF2.

No it doesn't, it makes you look like an idiot and makes your message take 5 times as long for anybody else to read. If writing "lke" instead of "like" really makes you "so much fasr", then you need to go back to elementary school and learn how to type.

If your friend is really messing around learning Linux instead of playing with you then it's likely he'll end up earning a whole hell of a lot more than you, and be having more fun than you doing something he loves in a few years time -- so I would suggest to him he dump losers like you who might bring him down.
