Thumbs up help cdrdao in k3b

Hi all,i m not able to set manually cdrdao drive in K3b can someone help me.

you might not have it installed.

try whereis cdrdao in the terminal

you might have to download it separately.

fellow newbie running Mandrake 9.1 here.... had same problem. cdrdao is installed in this dist. but did not autodetect my drive either.

try: settings > configure k3b > devices > where under the burner settins cdrdao driver will be listed... this is a drop down menu but looks liek plain text.... click here to set your new driver. my error message told me to set generic-mmc. Works like a champ now.
