need more info.

i went through the setup sometime ago, someone was having a problem with it. didn't give me any problems, so i'll need more info to help out.

when you say 'cdrdao drive', are you talking about which of your cdroms that you need to set?

ok, i just did the kb3 setup again and it points to the proper place for my cdrdao, lib. big problem though, it doesn't reconize the dvd to read from. even though all of the /dev/ parameters are corrrect.

use gnome-toaster instead. just drag and drop, copy things over from your control panel and you'll be set if your adding devices.

I had the same problem and could not fix it on my system. If you can not get any cd front end programmes to run,you should try CD Writing in Linux (www.sgms-centre.com/linux/howto/cdwriting).Its command line stuff, but it always works.

Cheers
