Help a newbie with wine!
Okay, so I just downloaded and installed Ubuntu 7.10 yesterday and have started messing around with it. I quickly figured out that I needed Wine, so I found that. However, it won't compile without a flex package (which isn't on my cd)... so I downloaded that, but its an .exe file, which means I can't open it without Wine. Any advice? Oh yeah by the way, that computer doesnt have an internet connection. Because (I think) I need Wine in order to install the wireless card's software.
